Purported gang member facing firearms charges

-Floyd County Jail records-

A Garden Lakes man is facing multiple charges following his arrest at his Elliott Drive home, including 14 counts of participation in criminal street gang activity and five counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

According to an arrest warrant and Floyd County Jail records:

During a criminal investigation, 18-year old Treylin Maleek Burge was found in possession of an AR rifle on August 30, and two AR-style firearms as well as a Glock pistol on October 23.

The Glock had a switch that modifies the firearm into an automatic.

Burge, who is associated with the Kutthroat street gang, is also charged with possession of an illegally modified firearm and a probation violation.
