Man accused of forging prescription

A Lithonia man was booked into the Floyd County Jail Tuesday on felony warrants charging him with possession of a Schedule II controlled substance and 1st-degree forgery.

According to the warrants:

28-year old Tyus Cordell Key-Reaves dropped off and then picked up a fraudulent prescription for oxycodone at CVS on Martha Berry Boulevard back on July 19.

The prescription was confirmed to be fraudulent by Regenerative Spine and Pain Specialists out of Fayetteville. 

Report: Man seen driving a stolen vehicle

A South Rome man was arrested during a traffic stop on Gadsden Road in Cave Spring on Tuesday.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

39-year old Shawn Donta Daniels was seen driving a car that had been reported stolen in Polk County on October 23.

He was then found with suspected MDMA, more than an ounce of marijuana, and scales.

He is charged with possession of Schedule I controlled substance, possession with the intent to distribute, and theft by receiving stolen property.

Woman accused of damaging jail cell door

A 31-year old Rome woman is accused of causing over $1,000 in damage at the Floyd County Jail.

According to jail records:

Sabra Daphine Lindsey caused nine “spider web” cracks to the glass door of a cell in the jail’s medical unit.

Lindsey has been incarcerated since October 13 following her arrest on charges of terroristic threats and acts, simple battery and obstruction of officers. 

She is now charged with a felony count of interference with government property.

Woman facing motor vehicle theft charges

A 29-year old West Rome woman is facing a felony count of theft by taking a motor vehicle following her arrest on Old Airport Road Tuesday.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

Keri Ann Mullins took her boyfriend’s car valued at $5,000.

Police also found Mullins in possession of a crack pipe with residue in it.

A baggie of marijuana was located in a purse inside the vehicle. 

Mullins is also charged with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and possession of drug-related objects. 

Woman charged with meth possession

A 37-year old Rome woman has been arrested on a felony warrant charging her with possession of methamphetamine.

According to the warrant:

Ashley Nichole Parr was found with meth during the execution of a search warrant on Judson Drive on July 8 of this year.
