[VIDEO] Donations sought for RomeGaCares hurricane relief efforts

For the next two weeks, RomeGaCares is partnering with the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office and North Rome Church of God to collect essentials for those affected by Hurricane Helene in Georgia and the Carolinas.

Residents of Northwest Georgia are welcome to volunteer and donate essential supplies until October 18th.

Donations can be dropped off behind North Rome Church of God at their 1929 N Broad Street warehouse, Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Items needed:

New blankets, bottled water, Gatorade or Powerade, cleaning supplies, disinfectant, diapers, tarps shovels, 5-gallon buckets with lids, brushes, mops, dehumidifiers, box fans, dog & cat food, gloves, masks, and toiletries.

*** Used clothing and furniture cannot be accepted at this time.
