“Most Wanted” suspect arrested

Another one of the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office’s “Most Wanted” is now in custody.

22-year-old Notorious Xzaveon Pitts was wanted on warrants charging him with theft by taking a firearm, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

According to the warrants:

A search warrant was executed for a room at the Hilltop Lofts on Chateau Drive back on July 29.

However, Pitts had left before authorities arrived.

A firearm that had been reported stolen was located and the victim told officers that Pitts was the one who took it.

Pitts is also charged with a couple of probation violations and a single count of failure to appear in court.

Man accused of causing damage to a police body cam

A Rome man was recently arrested at on Broad Street and Third Avenue on charges of interference with government property, criminal trespass, and misdemeanor obstruction of officers.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

53-year-old Christopher David Krall was at the location after having been banned by order of the Rome Municipal Court.

As police were trying to arrest Krall, he tried to pull away and push off one of the officers, knocking the police body camera to the road and damaging it.

Warrant: Woman sent harassing text messages

A West Rome woman has been jailed on a felony warrant charging her with aggravated stalking.

According to the warrant:

43-year-old Lashella Lynn Bollen harassed another woman by sending several text messages to her.

The texts were sent after a temporary protective order had been served to all parties.

Alabama man charged with aggravated stalking

A Cedar Bluff, Alabama is accused of trying to gain entry to a Garden Lakes residence in violation of a temporary protective order.

According to an arrest warrant:

44-year-old Derrick Lashawn Stallings caused damage to the door while trying to get in.

He is charged with a felony count of aggravated stalking.

Woman charged with felony possession of marijuana

A traffic stop for a seat belt violation on Highway 101 at Spur 101 ended with the arrest of a Cedartown woman on drug charges.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

19-year-old Destini Raven Cox had more than an ounce of packaged marijuana.

She is charged with a felony count of possession of marijuana and a misdemeanor seat belt violation.
