-Rome Police Department report-
The Rome Police Department is investigating the reported robbery of a West Rome convenience store.
According to the incident report:
The video showed a man wearing black or dark clothing and a face covering jump over the counter at the Citgo at 708 Shorter Avenue.
The suspect opened the cash register and took a black plastic bag from under the counter before leaving.
Roughly $500 was in the bag but only a few $1 bills were in the register.
The clerk told police the same man had robbed the store a couple of weeks ago.
