Report: Man threatened officer at jail

-Floyd County Jail records-

A Bremen man is facing charges following an incident at the Floyd County Jail on Monday.

According to jail records:

26-year-old Matthew Alexander Trusty chased another inmate throughout the cell block, lifting the victim off the floor and slamming him down.

He then resisted being placed into handcuffs and being taken to his cell.

Trusty then threatened an officer.

He is charged with simple battery, disorderly conduct, obstruction of law enforcement, and a felony count of terroristic threats and acts.

Trusty has been in jail since July 11 when he was arrested for a probation violation.
