A Summerville man is accused of traveling to Floyd County to meet someone he believed to be under the age of 16 for sex.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
41-year-old Mark Thurston Tate also engaged in a graphic online conversation with the person.
Tate is charged with criminal attempt to commit child molestation, obscene internet contact with a child, and a probation violation.
