-Blood Assurance-
Due to multiple trauma patients being treated this morning at area hospitals, the community blood supply has reached a critically low level.
Blood Assurance is in dire need of both O-positive and O-negative blood donors to roll up a sleeve and be someone’s hero.
Other blood types are also needed.
Donors can schedule an appointment at www.bloodassurance.org, or walk in to any donation center or mobile blood drive.
You can also go by the Blood Assurance Office in the Midtown Crossing shopping center.
Blood Assurance will host a blood drive on Wednesday on the AdventHealth Gordon campus.
The Bloodmobile will be parked in front of Resource Building 3 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
All this month, donors will receive a vintage Blood Assurance item, such as a t-shirt, coffee mug, cooler tote, and more.
