Georgia gas prices continue their downward trend.
Monday’s state average was $4.19 per gallon for regular unleaded gasoline.
That is 13 cents less than a week ago, and 24 cents less than last month.
However, it is still $1.26 more than this time last year.
According to AAA, a decrease in crude prices has had a noticeable impact at the pump, but if crude prices rise this week consumers could see an increase in gas at their local stations.
Local averages on Monday were $4.11 in Floyd County, $4.07 in Bartow County, $3.99 in Gordon County, $3.88 in Chattooga County, and $4.23 in Polk County.
