Dr. Gary Voccio, health director for the ten-county Georgia Department of Public Health Northwest Health District, gives us a cautiously optimistic update on the coronavirus in Northwest Georgia.
He also discusses public health’s Tuberculosis (TB) program. Before Covid-19, TB was the world’s deadliest infectious disease. For the moment, it’s just second.
