Gas prices in Georgia are down by another 19 cents when compared to a week ago.
Georgia motorists are now paying an average price of $3.95 per gallon for regular unleaded gasoline.
Monday’s state average is still 45 cents more than last month and $1.23 more than this time last year.
The national average is $4.25.
According to AAA, while Georgians continue to see savings at the pumps compared to a week ago if oil prices continue to rise, gas prices will likely follow suit, possibly reversing course from the current downward trend.
Local averages on Monday were $3.89 in Floyd County, $3.75 in Chattooga County, $3.90 in Bartow County, and $3.93 in both Gordon and Polk Counties.
