Floyd County sees 120 more COVID-19 cases reported Wednesday

120 more Floyd County residents have tested positive for COVID-19, according to the Wednesday report from the Georgia Department of Public Health.

The new cases bring the total to 16,517 since the start of the pandemic.

604 cases have been reported in the last two weeks alone.

Bartow County reported 110 new cases from Tuesday to Wednesday.

Gordon County had 15 while Chattooga County had 47 and Polk County had 55.

Floyd County reported two more deaths on Wednesday while Bartow County had four.

Statewide, there were 13,834 new positives reported on Wednesday with 45 confirmed deaths.
