Today (through 11 PM this evening) — A MARGINAL to SLIGHT risk for severe weather exists across far north GA today. As a warm front lifts north across the area, there is a risk for a few strong to severe storms mainly across far north Georgia.
Main storm threats:
- Hail up to 1-1.25″
- Isolated damaging winds > 60 MPH
- Heavy rain / isolated flooding
Sunday — showers and thunderstorms along and ahead of a cold front will move southeast across the area throughout the day. A few storms within the line could be strong to severe with damaging winds being the primary threat. A MARGINAL to SLIGHT risk for severe weather exists across much of the area.
