The Rome Board of Education meeting will hold its monthly meeting on Tuesday at the City Schools College and Career Academy at 990 Veterans Memorial Highway.
The caucus will be held at 4:00 p.m. in Room A211 and the regular meeting will start at 5:45 p.m. in Room A201.
Agenda items include an Exemplary Service Awards presentation and recognition of the Rome City Schools spelling bee winner and runner-up, as well as the Atrium Health Floyd Martin Luther King, Jr. Essay contest, the winner of the 4-H District Project Achievement Speech competition, the State Superintendent Math Leader Award, and the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics.
Main Elementary will be featured during the school spotlight and the board will appoint an ex officio member to the Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation board.
