Purchases for the new Floyd County Police Department headquarters and AdventHealth Stadium are on the agenda for Tuesday’s Floyd County Commission meeting.
The board will also consider a change order request from Rehab Construction Co. for additional work at the Brighton Water Plant Treatment facility.
On the consent agenda, is a request from public works to approve a grant with EPD to pave Rush Chapel Road with rubber-modified asphalt.
The County will have a match of $247,395 and this will be covered by the existing 2025 paving budget in the 2023 SPLOST.
A resolution for Arbor Day is also on the agenda for the meeting which begins at 6 p.m. at the county administration building on Fourth Avenue.
During the caucus, which starts at 4 p.m., commissioners will hear an update from Rome-Floyd Planning Director Brice Wood.
