Calhoun Police and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation executed a search warrant Friday at a business suspected of being involved in human trafficking.
According to Calhoun Police:
Evidence obtained during an investigation over several months led to the warrant at Curing Massage located at 514 South Wall Street.
Calhoun Police Chief Tony Pyle stated:
“We are dedicated to ensuring that Calhoun remains a safe place for everyone. This investigation highlights the importance of collaboration between local law enforcement and state agencies to address such serious crimes.”
Warrants have been secured for 54-year-old Siqi Li, who is charged with keeping a place of prostitution, and two counts of massage without a license.
All other individuals inside the business are being treated as victims in the case and police said they are committed to ensuring their well-being and connecting them with any necessary resources.
