Early voting remains brisk

Election Day is less than two weeks away and more than a quarter of Floyd County’s active voters have already cast ballots.

There are 60,891 active voters in Floyd County, and, as of Tuesday, an estimated 15,443 have voted in advance since October 15.

Those early vote totals include 965 who cast ballots on Saturday.

Voters registered in Floyd County can vote in advance at the elections office at 18 East 12th Street in Rome, the Anthony Recreation Center at 2901 Garden Lakes Boulevard in Garden Lakes, and at the Thornton Recreation Center at 102 North Floyd Park in Armuchee.

Hours are from 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. weekdays.

You can also vote this Saturday, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., and Sunday from 1 until 5 at the elections office only.
