Brittany Sublett, a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Harbin Clinic Oncology, recently launched the “Wig It Forward” initiative to assist breast cancer patients who are dealing with hair loss.

After seeing the emotional toll hair loss has had on her patients, Nurse Sublett sought support through donations from local businesses, hair salons, and donors.

With community support, “Wig It Forward” raised $5,000 worth of wigs and hair during its first annual campaign.

Nurse Sublett is already planning next year’s campaign and encourages anyone interested in supporting the cause to reach out to her directly at Harbin Clinic Oncology.

According to Nurse Sublett, the “Wig It Forward” campaign aims to become a yearly tradition.
