A substantial power outage has been reported along Shorter Avenue. The outage affects around 1,060 customers from Ridgeferry Park and the City of Rome water plant to Summerville Park and John Davenport Drive to North Elm Street.

Another outage on Callier Spring Road and East Second Avenue has 146 customers without electricity.

194 are without power on Pleasant Valley Road and Abrams Road, and 103 customers are without power on Timberwood Drive and Ridgefield Drive in Silver Creek, and another 61 in the Bryant Chapel area off of Callier Springs.

There are a number of smaller outages in Floyd County.

There is a power outage at Reynolds Chapel Baptist Church on Euharlee Road off Highway 411 in Bartow County, affecting 335 customers. In all, there are 35 outages impacting 1,645 customers.

Another, impacting 1,235 customers is near Hamilton Crossing Park in the area of Highway 293 and Firetower Road in Cartersville.
