The Georgia Department of Transportation has awarded a contract for the installation of dynamic messaging signs at various locations on I-75 in Bartow and Gordon Counties.
Lumis Transportation Technologies, LLC submitted the low bid at $1,165,730.25.
Dynamic Message Signs are electronic signs that provide drivers with real-time traffic alerts.
GDOT issued an order to proceed on August 2 and the estimated completion date is June of 2025.
