Resaca Man Arrested for Child Molestation Charges in Rome:
- A 37-year-old Gordon County man was arrested in Floyd County last weekend for Felony charges related to child molestation. According to Floyd County Jail Records, Steven Dennis Seay (of a Praters Drive Resaca address) was arrested on Saturday after he allegedly made contact with someone he believed was under the age of 16. Seay engaged in graphic descriptions of sex acts with the child, sent three photos exposing himself, asked the child for lewd photos of their body, and asked the child to meet for those acts. Seay traveled to a location in Floyd County to engage in acts that would have been aggravated child molestation and was arrested by the Floyd County Police Department.
Polk Woman Arrested for Stalking, Tampering with Evidence:
- A 26-year-old Polk County woman was arrested on Sunday for charges related to drug possession, tampering with evidence, and felony stalking. According to Floyd County Jail Records, Abigail Lynette Allen (of a Lloyd Circle Aragon Address) was arrested at a Martha Berry Blvd hotel after she allegedly attempted to destroy evidence by flushing drugs down a toilet during a search warrant. Rome Police stated that Allen was originally being arrested for repeatedly stalking others when she attempted to destroy evidence.
Rome Teen Arrested for Driving Under Influence on Golf Course:
- A 19-year-old Floyd County teen was arrested Saturday night for DUI-related charges at the Coosa Country Club. According to Floyd County Jail records, Alan Oliver Aguilar-Rojas of Rome was apprehended by police after He allegedly took his 1999 Toyota Corolla across the golf course and got the vehicle stuck near the 14th hole. Coosa Country Club General Manager Brian Albertson and golf course superintendent Tim Cunningham both stated they saw Aguilar “driving all over golf course grounds at various rates of speed while there were numerous people on the course.”
