Two people were seriously injured Sunday in a crash involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck in Gordon County.
According to the Georgia State Patrol:
A 2012 Ford F-250 was traveling east on Highway 53 and was waiting to turn left onto Fairmount Highway.
The F-250 turned left, and directly into the path of a westbound Harley Davidson.
The driver of the Harley Davidson was taken to Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga by helicopter.
A passenger on the motorcycle was transported to Advent Gordon Hospital.
The wreck occurred at around 3 p.m. Sunday.
