Gordon County Government will host a Town Hall meeting for the community of Ranger on Tuesday, May 23rd at 6:00 pm.
The meeting will be held in the Ranger Community Center located at 169 Church Street Ranger, GA.
The Town Hall will be an opportunity to answer questions and concerns that the community may have.
The community is encouraged to visit www.gordoncounty.org or call 706-629-3795 for more information.
WRGA News previously reported that Gordon County announced on May 5th that Ranger Georgia officially lost its status as a town.
Georgia Governor Brian Kemp signed House Bill 773 dissolving the town Charter after legislation was introduced into the Georgia General Assembly back in March of this year.
The legislation was introduced with the intent of stripping Ranger of its municipal status after the town repeatedly did not provide basic services for citizens.
The Gordon County government website released a public notice stating that it will now provide government services to the community.
