Georgia gas prices continue to decline.
Georgia drivers are now paying an average price of $3.25 per gallon for regular unleaded gasoline, which is 8 cents less than a week ago, and 30 cents less than a month ago.
According to AAA, the decrease in crude oil prices has had a noticeable impact at the pump, so far.
However, hurricane season is underway, and a storm has the potential to cause a disruption to oil and gas operations.
If this happens, we could see an increase in gas prices.
Local averages on Monday were $3.09 in Floyd County, $3.10 in Bartow County, $3.04 in Gordon County, and $3.17 in Polk County.
Chattooga County had the lowest average at $2.98 a gallon.
