Northwest Georgia is now under a 3/5 risk level for severe storms this afternoon through early tomorrow (Thursday) morning. The 2/5 and 1/5 risk level areas remain unchanged.
The main threats are still damaging wind gusts and a brief tornado or two, especially across north Georgia
The timing for the storms is Wednesday afternoon through the overnight hours.
