A Centre, Alabama man has been sentenced to death for a triple homicide that occurred six years ago.
Donnie Lee Abernathy was found guilty in October of the shooting deaths of three women and wounding a man back in November of 2015 at a residence in the Round Mountain Community of Cherokee County.
He then kidnapped his own girlfriend.
On Monday, the judge sentenced Abernathy to death by lethal injection.
