Two more Floyd County residents have died from COVID-19, according to the Monday status report from the Georgia Department of Public Health.
Floyd County is now at 261 deaths since the start of the pandemic.
117 new positive tests were included in the numbers, which also include Saturday and Sunday.
Another two deaths were reported in Bartow County for a total of 281.
Bartow County also reported 101 new cases.
Gordon County reported no deaths, remaining at 149 with total cases at 8,371, up by 42 from Friday.
Chattooga County saw 48 news cases and no deaths.
Polk County also had no deaths but reported 55 new cases.
Statewide, there were 138 confirmed deaths reported Monday for a total of 22,112.
Georgia saw 6,609 new cases in Monday’s report.
