Nearly 43,000 Floyd County residents have now had at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, according to the Georgia Department of Public Health.
That’s about 44% of the total population.
Just over 37,000, or 37%, of Floyd County residents, are now fully vaccinated.
That’s the highest percentage in the region.
Bartow, Gordon and Polk Counties are at 34%, while Chattooga County is at 33%.
Statewide, nearly 5.6 million Georgians have had at least one dose, which is 53%.
46% are fully vaccinated.
