We will see an active period of severe weather tonight and through Thursday.
Individual severe thunderstorms could develop ahead of the main line of storms tonight.
A line of strong to severe thunderstorms is expected to enter Northwest Georgia overnight and move southeast through the area on Thursday.
Primary Severe Impacts (later tonight into Thursday) could include damaging wind gusts of over 60 miles per hour that could bring down trees and power lines.
Also, tornadoes. A stronger, long-track tornado cannot be ruled out.
We could also see hail, primarily in Central Georgia.
Heavy rainfall today and tonight could lead to flash flood and river flood concerns in north Georgia.
