The Centre, Alabama City Hall is closed until further notice after multiple employees tested positive for COVID-19.
The city council meeting scheduled for Tuesday night was postponed.
Centre Police Chief Kirk Blankenship, who himself is currently under self-quarantine and recovering; said that another employee of the police department is out, waiting for test results.
Phone calls to the Centre Police Department will be routed to 9-1-1 in the event that no one is available to answer.
